Can an allergic reaction after Pylera occur in the eye area?

Hello, my husband started treatment with the drug Pyrela. This is his third day. From the first day, his eye began to hurt. The next day, the eye swelled and continued to hurt. We thought it was barley. But unfortunately not. On the third day, the eye is very swollen but it no longer hurts. We went to the pharmacy and the lady said that it could be an allergic reaction. He got pills and feels a little better. Is it possible that this drug causes such an allergic reaction?

An allergic reaction may be related to the medicine you are taking or be caused by another allergen. According to the manufacturer, an uncommon side effect of the drug Pylera associated with the organ of vision is blurred vision - the described ailments may indicate an allergy, the more so because the antihistamine has brought a therapeutic effect. Events that have occurred since you started taking Pylera should be consulted with your doctor as soon as possible. It may be necessary to stop therapy and change the method of treatment.
