Will camphor or anti-inflammatory ointment reduce swollen lymph nodes and make it easier to swallow the tablet?

Hi I wanted to ask if I can use the antibiotic Bactrim to apply camphor ointment or anti-inflammatory and analgesic ointment to enlarged lymph nodes because I have a problem swallowing an analgesic tablet?

Altacet is applied topically to the skin: - in bruises; - in articular and post-traumatic edema; - in edema caused by burns. Similar recommendations will be for other ointments commonly used without a prescription with anti-edematous effect. If you want to reduce swelling and inflammation of the upper respiratory tract mucosa, lozenges and sprays containing, for example, flurbiprofen (e.g. Strepsils intensive), benzidamine (e.g. Tantum Verde) or those with a soothing effect (e.g. Lactoangin) may be helpful. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/75015/strepsils-intensive-tabletki-do-ssania-gryzienia-zucia/ https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/77403/tantum-verde-aerozol/ https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/111653/lactoangin-spray-aerozol/

Camphor ointment applied to the skin causes local congestion and has an anesthetic effect, thanks to which it brings relief from muscle and joint pains, it should not be used around the eyes, nose and face - its use on enlarged lymph nodes seems to be unjustified, similarly with ointments in which the main component is a substance from the NSAID group - they are used for pain and inflammation associated with the musculoskeletal system (e.g. joints, muscles). Bactrim is used orally. The tablet can be divided into equal doses. It is best to take it after a meal with the right amount of fluids. If dividing the tablet does not help, it is worth consulting a doctor and discussing the possibility of taking the drug in the form of a suspension: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/8745/bactrim-syrop/ More information about camphor ointment: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/46676/masc-kamforowa-masc/ To more easily cope with the difficulty of swallowing tablets, I recommend watching the video:
