My mom struggles with hyperthyroidism. One of her symptoms is palpitations and for this she is prescribed the drug Biosotal 40. The problem is a rather persistent cough, which he has had for about a month. Is it possible for Biosotal to cause this cough?

Theoretically - by analyzing possible side effects - Biosotal can cause the occurrence of shortness of breath, but not necessarily coughing. In such a situation, you should go to the doctor, who will assess what is the cause of the persistent cough (it may be necessary to perform additional tests or it may turn out to be a coincidence).
