For several days, the 12-year-old son has been taking Thicodin 15mg for a tiring, dry cough. Can I include Pulmicort 0.5 in my treatment?

Pulmicort is a prescription medicine and its inclusion in therapy should take place after consulting a doctor. Pulmicort is not typically an antitussive medicine. The active substance of the preparation is corticosteroid - budesonide with anti-inflammatory effect. It is worth for the doctor to determine the cause of the cough - then he will be able to prescribe the appropriate treatment.
