Should I stick to the plan and apply the Evra patch if spotting has appeared while the period is shifting?

Hello. I use Evra patches. I wanted to postpone the period, so after three days of applying the patches, instead of taking a week's break, I glued more patches for three weeks, planning this time a normal break afterwards. I'm in the middle of the third patch and there was bleeding on Thursday exactly as usual I was getting my period. Should I stick to the plan, i.e. apply the patch and take a week's break?

According to the plan - you should leave the patch glued and on the right day start a 7-day break. Spotting and mid-cycle bleeding occur quite often when moving the date of the period.
