What should I do if I use hormonal contraception and I need to use the antibiotic Augmentin?

Good morning. I got from the dentist antibiotic agumetin 875mg + 125mg and I use oral contraception lesiplus, are these two drugs mutually exclusive? If so, what should I do to be fully protected

Some antibiotics weaken the effectiveness of hormonal contraception. Amoxicillin (Augmentin) is one of them. It is recommended to use an additional, mechanical method of contraception (e.g. condom) until the end of the cycle or up to 7 days after the end of antibiotic therapy.
