I have tested positive for COVID-19, I pass slightly, but I have phlegm draining away - can I use an antibiotic?

I have tested positive for covid infection. In general, the infection passes quite slightly, first of all my throat hurts, I have a very slight cough.. Today I began to drain phlegm from the lower and upper respiratory tract. In this case, can the use of an antibiotic be justified?

No, the antibiotic is used for bacterial infections, and COVID-19 infection is not such a disease. Detachment of secretions is not a reason to use an antibiotic, it is a natural situation in case of infection. Drugs are used to alleviate the symptoms of the disease (e.g. for sore throat) In such a situation, it is worth following the doctor's recommendations and taking care of proper hydration, which will allow to liquefy the secretion and clean the airways more easily.
