I take Dexilant for reflux and cough from reflux, but it doesn't help me. What to do?

I have a hiatal hernia and reflux I have been suffering from it for several years I take Emanere and Prokit. For 4 months I have a very persistent cough the doctor suggested to me that the cause of this cough may be reflux because the most cough tires me at night as I lie down. Prescribed me Dexilant, which I take a month but I do not see any improvement. Please answer very much.

Yes, as much as possible, cough can be caused by reflux disease. If you are using Dexilant and Emanera at the same time after prescribing Dexilant, please contact your doctor, as these 2 medicines are of the same group of substances (proton pump inhibitors). However, I do not know what answer you are asking for, because I do not see a specific question. Cough can have many causes and reflux does not have to be the only one. Perhaps you also use other drugs (e.g. for hypertension)? It is also worth changing your eating habits if your symptoms worsen after specific meals. I leave a link to a video where we talk more about it:
