If after a 7-day break I forgot to stick the Evra patch, has the day of changing the patch changed now and am I protected?

She has been using evra patches for 9 months. This month, after a 7-day break, I forgot to glue the patch on Saturday at 10 p.m. as always, but I just glued it on Sundays around 9 a.m. Has the day of changing the patch to Sundays changed now? And am I protected? Best regards

The delay in putting on the first patch automatically changes the "day of changing the patch" - that is, in your case, this day will now be Sunday morning. In such a situation, protection is not fully maintained and additional methods of contraception (e.g. condom) should be used for the next 7 days. I recommend the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje I attach the leaflet of Evra patches: www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/28646/evra-system-transdermalny/ulotka/
