Has Escitalopram stopped working after a month?

I have been taking Escitalopram 10mg for severe depression for a month now. I noticed an improvement right away, zero side effects. However, in the last few days I'm starting to feel like I did before the treatment–a total mental reunion. could the drug stop working in such a short time? Is the dose too small?

The deterioration of your health that you are talking about is a reason for medical consultation. It may take several weeks of treatment before improvement begins. You should continue to take the medicine even if it takes some time for the patient to improve. The drug has not stopped working, but it may be necessary to modify the treatment - there is also the possibility of increasing the dose of the drug, but this will be decided by the doctor during the visit. Do not change the dosage without seeking medical advice. It is worth, in addition to drug treatment, to undertake psychotherapy. I recommend the entry: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/depresja More information about the drug: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/27586/escitalopram-actavis-tabletki-powlekane/ It is worth watching a useful video:
