Can I take Saxenda and Glucophage together?

Good morning I take the smallest dose of Glukophage (after dinner) I have to take Saxenda as well. I have already gone from Obesity in BMI to overweight. I have a pre-diabetic condition and a suspicion of insulin resistance. When is it best to take these two medications. Together for the evening, or Saxenda in the morning and Glukophage for the evening. Can I stop glukophage at some point?

Preparations with metformin (e.g. Glucophage) with the note XR or SR are usually used at night, after the last meal. However, this is not the only right solution. Preparations without the note SR or XR are usually used with a meal. As for the drug Saxenda - it is enough that it will be more or less the same time. It is worth taking the drug for the night, because then the patient sleeps out of nausea that may appear at the beginning of therapy. When it comes to discontinuation of the drug - such a decision is made in consultation with the doctor, because it is he who knows your medical history and treatment goals. There are generally no contraindications to the use of Saxenda and Glucophage at the same time, if necessary. I leave a link to the sample pen needles and remind you that when administering Saxenda, you should use a new needle each time: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/48855/igly-do-penow-bd-micro-fine-plus-igla/apteki#internetowe
