Hypoglycaemia can often occur in patients with hypertension and type 2 diabetes and kidney disease, so it is worth measuring sugar levels more often with a glucometer and preventing drops in blood glucose. The pressure drop itself can cause a feeling similar to hypoglycemia (weakness, cold sweats, trembling hands). According to the information of the manufacturer of the drug Lorista - in people without diabetes, who do not use antidiabetic drugs, hypoglycemia should not occur. Please note that a value below 70 mg/dL as a criterion for hypoglycaemia is established for people with diabetes. In a healthy person, the fasting sugar level of 70 mg / dL or, for example, 68 mg / dL can take place and does not necessarily indicate that the drug caused such a decrease. It can take place simply because of a long break from eating. It is also worth excluding a poorly performed measurement with a glucometer (e.g. puncture of a wet finger from water or disinfectant and taking such a sample). It is also worth paying attention to whether there are symptoms of hypoglycemia: Symptoms of hypoglycemia, accelerated breathing and heartbeat, trembling of the hands, legs "like cotton wool", cold sweat, scotoma in front of the eyes, hunger, confusion, behavioral changes. In such a situation, we measure the concentration of glucose in the blood with a glucometer. If the result is lower than 70 mg / dl - we consume about 15 g of glucose (glucose in gel, pressed candies with dextrose, more than half of a small juice in a carton). If after 15 minutes there is no improvement, we drink another approx. 15 g of glucose (15/15 rule). If the situation is not associated with hunger and is repeated - it is worth consulting a doctor. I leave a link to an example, ready-made glucose preparation, which can be ordered using wherepolek with collection at the pharmacy or home delivery: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99103/symdiab-glukoza-plyn/apteki?pvid=247191#internetowe
