You should not divide the Cetix tablet and use it twice a day. The effectiveness of the antibiotic depends on the administration of the appropriate dose of the drug at one time. Administration of half the dose will not give the desired effect, and may contribute to increasing the resistance of bacteria to the antibiotic and, for example, the recurrence of infection. If you suspect that vomiting and diarrhoea are an adverse reaction of the medicine and not new symptoms of infection and create so much discomfort that you are unable to continue treatment, you should consult your doctor to change your medication.
