Metmin is a nasal spray containing mometasone - a drug with anti-inflammatory effect. It is intended mainly for the treatment of rhinitis and nasal polyps, but it is also used in conservative therapy of hypertrophy of the tonsil of medium severity, as an alternative to surgical treatment. In studies evaluating the effects of such treatment, improvements in nasal patency, reduction of tonsil size and alleviation of obstructive apnea were achieved.
