Hello. A few times a year I have joint pain, for which only ibuprom in capsules has always helped me. I have been having stomach problems for some time so I prefer not to use ibuprofen in capsules because it supposedly irritates the stomach. Is there any drug with ibuprofen in a form other than capsules that has no effect on the stomach?

Any of the available forms of the drug with ibuprofen may cause gastrointestinal side effects. With stomach problems, it is not recommended to use ibuprofen, as well as other drugs from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The possible occurrence of side effects, such as gastrointestinal bleeding, is not affected by the form of the drug taken, and the active substance itself. Side effects from the gastrointestinal tract can occur both after taking the drug in the form of a capsule, tablet and others.
