How to proceed when changing Mercilon to Rigevidon?

Hi I have a question whether if yesterday I took osatnia tablet Mercilon and the doctor offered me to change the tablets, because I had a period before jumping tablets already 2 muesiace so and change the tablets to Rigevidon is from tomorrow I have to start taking new tablets or take a break? The doctor told me that I have to start after a 4-day break and I do not know if it should be 4 days or 7 days And whether during this break there is a risk of getting pregnant? Best regards

I am attaching the information on the change from another contraceptive to Rogevidon in the Summary of Product Characteristics: Rigevidon should be started the day following the last pill in the packaging of the previously used contraceptive. Do not take a break in the use of tablets between packages. If the previous contraceptive pack also contained placebo tablets (without hormones), Rigevidon should be started the day after the last antibiotic tablet, but no later than the day after the usual break in the previous combined contraceptive tablet (or after taking the last placebo tablet from the previous pack). The use of Rigevidon can be started as recommended by the doctor, i.e. after 4 days from taking the last tablet of Mercilon, please follow the instructions given by him. This break is the same break you used during the 7-day bleeding break while using Mercilon. If the pills were used correctly and regularly, then contraceptive protection is preserved.
