Can an elderly person with diabetes support Captopril if they are taking Noliprel permanently?
Good morning. Can you help with Catopril if necessary with Noriprel? The question concerns an elderly 82-year-old person suffering from diabetes and taking insulin.

I assume that both drugs were ordered to the patient by a doctor. If so, Captopril can be used temporarily in case of a sudden increase in pressure. However, it is worth remembering that in order to get the correct blood pressure values, it is necessary to regularly take Noliprol and not to stop it during periods when the pressure is normal.
