Hello, Can there be night sweats after depraline? He has been taking the drug for two months and at night these sweats are quite large. Should such symptoms pass over time? Can such sweats be dangerous to health? Best regards

Yes, excessive sweating may occur when taking Depralin, this is one of the side effects of the drug that may occur during its use. Escitalopram (the active substance in Depralin) belongs to a group of medicines called serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Side effects of these drugs are strongest during the first 2-3 weeks after the start of use.
