Am I protected from pregnancy at all times when using Evra patches?

Hello, when using the second cycle of evra patches in the first week (II) of the cycle, am I still protected from pregnancy? In the first cycle, menstruation appeared at the third patch on Sundays (and I should peel it off on Tuesday and then bleeding should occur) I will add that spotting is still going on... and I start already 2 cycle and I patch. Another issue, is it possible to often feel discomfort and burning in intimate places when using hormonal contraception? Does contraception have a negative impact on this?

Yes, if the patches are used correctly, you are protected from pregnancy at all times. Midcyclic bleeding and spotting are common side effects, especially during the first months of using contraceptive patches. They do not affect the effectiveness of contraception and are usually not a cause for concern. The use of hormonal contraception can cause vaginal dryness, which in turn can cause discomfort and burning. I am attaching a helpful article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/zele-intymne
