In terms of composition, prescription preparations with mometasone, e.g. Metmin and over-the-counter preparations, e.g. Momester, are no different. Differences in the leaflet (m.in that Momester should not be used in children) are due to other indications for the use of this OTC medicine (without consulting a doctor). This medicine should not be used without a doctor's indication, e.g. for a long time or in children, so the leaflet of over-the-counter medicines must contain such provisions that will warn patients against self-administration of this medicine in cases where it is not advisable without medical consultation.
