Is spotting normal after stopping treatment with Zafrilla?

Good morning. I have a question about Zafrilla. On the last day of using Zafrilla there was brown spotting, the next day there was also spotting and in addition to lower abdominal pain, as if menstruation was to appear. Is this normal after stopping treatment with Zafrilla?

Yes, bleeding may occur after you stop taking Zafrilla and this is not a cause for concern.

I have been told by my doctor that Zafrilla can be used for a maximum of 6 months. After all, the drug can not be used for the rest of life and one day there is an end to treatment and therefore I ask if bleeding after the end of treatment is normal

Yes, I stopped taking Zafrilla definitively and bleeding started immediately after that.

Changes in the bleeding profile may occur while taking Zafrilla, such as spotting, irregular bleeding or menstruation may not occur at all. however, I do not fully understand what you mean by 'termination of treatment'. Zafrilla tablets are taken daily and there are no breaks between packs. The definitive end of therapy is decided by the gynecologist. An unusual bleeding profile may make itself felt at any stage of use of the drug according to the information given at the beginning.
