The use of ibuprofen (the active ingredient in Nurofen Express) during treatment with Efectin ER may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. Particular care should be taken in the case of patients suffering from gastrointestinal diseases, especially gastric and duodenal ulcers, as their simultaneous use may exacerbate its course.
