Is there a risk that Bupropion Neuraxpharm will perform worse than the original Wellbutrin XR?

Good morning, I am currently taking Wellbutrin XR 150 mg, for some time I took Welbox, which unfortunately worked worse on me than the original Wellbutrin. Recently, a new generic preparation of bupropion has appeared - Bupropion Neuraxpharm, which is definitely more affordable, although I am afraid that the problem with it will be the same as with Welbox, that its operation compared to Wellbutrin will be simply weak. Is there such a risk?

Bupropion Neuraxpharm Works very well just like the original Neuraxpharm is the highest quality CNS drugs in Western Europe. In Poland, it is a definite market leader, so several thousand patients can not be wrong, also the entire medical and pharmaceutical environment has great confidence in this reputable company. I recommend Neuraxpharm drugs to everyone.

I recommend the book Bottle of Lies - about generic drugs. It is not always Nocebo and in the case of Buproprion already more than one manufacturer has messed up with the Extended Release mechanism.

Equivalents can be used interchangeably, especially in the case of large price differences. You can therefore use Bupropion Neuraxpharm and expect it to work as Wellbutrin XR does. It happens that patients feel other effects after switching to an equivalent, but please remember that all the drugs mentioned by you (Wellbutrin XR, Welbox and Bupropion Neuraxpharm) have undergone studies proving that their replacement use does not affect the effectiveness and safety of the drug. These are the so-called bioequivalence studies. The whole topic is widely presented here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czym-sa-zamienniki-lekow The feeling of a weaker / worse effect of the counterpart may be due to the so-called nocebo effect, i.e. simply a negative attitude to the use of the equivalent. I send a video in which Małgorzata Bekier, MSc Farm, explains what a nocebo is:

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
