Will the use of the contraceptive disc for the first time, but at a different time than indicated (2 days after the period) be effective or should I wait until the next period?

You can apply the disc now - but for the first 7 days of using the disc, you should use additional protection in the form of a condom. After 7 days, the disc will already work properly and protection will be provided. According to the manufacturer: "You can start using the vaginal therapeutic system between the 2nd and 5th day of the cycle, but in this case, for the first 7 days during the first cycle of using the disc, it is recommended to use a mechanical method of contraception (condom) at the same time."
