If I have to use Gynalgin for five days, should I stop therapy after five days?

Good morning, when I was at the gynecologist I had my vaginal secretion examined and it turned out that there were bacteria and fungi in it. I will add that I do not have any symptoms of this infection, except for the result. Nevertheless, I got gynalgin, which the doctor recommended to use for 5 days. In the leaflet it is written to use the drug for 10 days. Unfortunately, I did not ask the doctor before, but in this case I should stop the therapy after 5 days?

The doctor has the right to order the use of the preparation otherwise than in the leaflet attached to the drug - to the best of his knowledge and experience. Gynalgin tablet is used deep vaginally - 1 tablet 1 time per day, preferably overnight. If your treatment is to last 5 days, it follows that you should use 5 tablets and stop there. If you have any doubts whether such recommendations were actually made by the doctor, it is best to contact us directly. The dosage should also be on the prescription - so you can make sure at the pharmacy where you bought the product or on the Online Patient Account.
