Where can the contraceptive patch be glued?

Can I stick the patch on the bend of the hand? Isn't it too close to the breast and will it work? (Photo) is my 2nd patch.

To @k193828: the effectiveness of contraception in this situation should be preserved and there is no need for an additional method of preventing pregnancy.

I ground the patch, but is there a higher risk of pregnancy at this point?

You have not specified which patches are covered by the content of the question. My guess is that it is about contraceptive patches. The rest of the answer therefore concerns contraceptive patches, if you meant another type of patch, please ignore the answer and provide information on the trade name of the patches. Manufacturers of contraceptive patches recommend that the patches be applied to the skin of the buttocks, abdomen, outer upper arm or upper torso in a place where tight clothing will not rub the patch. The patch behind the attached photo was placed on the inner part of the arm, i.e. not in accordance with the recommendations. To ensure its full effectiveness and safety, it is recommended to stick the patch in one of the above-mentioned places.
