Will the side effects of Gabapentin go away and the body gets used to it?

I took the first tablet of Gabapentinu teva 300, it stunned me enough, I became drowsy. Will these symptoms go away? In turn, I have to take more and more of them, I am afraid of similar reactions after each tablet. Will the body get used to the drug?

Feeling "bewildered" and drowsy are typical symptoms accompanying the start of treatment with Gabapentin - these symptoms disappear with the duration of therapy - usually after 1-2 weeks from the start of treatment or changing the dose of the drug.
