When using Evra patches, is it normal to have a red coating around the patch? Could it be some kind of allergy?

Such a change may indicate the occurrence of a chafing. If the lesion is itchy or painful, you can peel off the patch and stick a new one in a different place (the new one should be changed to the next one on the day when you would normally change the current patch to a new one). To avoid such situations, it is worth drying the place where the patch is glued after bathing - so that there is no water left on the edges of the patch. If, despite drying, redness occurs again, and in addition you notice changes also on the skin under the patch - this may indicate an allergy, e.g. to the glue contained in the patch, then you should consult a doctor to change the contraceptive.
