Strepsils Intensive do not contain ibuprofen, but flurbiprofen (a drug from the same group - NSAIDs). Indeed, this drug in combination with SSRIs (e.g. Setaloft) may, but rather slightly, increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. The risk may increase if the patient also uses other oral NSAIDs, e.g. Ibuprofen, Ketoprofen. Other products under the name Strepsils, e.g. Strepsils with honey and lemon, Strepsils Junior, Strepsils for cough, can be safely combined with Setaloft, because they contain other active ingredients.
Depends on! Strepsils intensive contain ibuprofen, which is inadvisable during treatment with sertraline, as it significantly increases the risk of bleeding from the digestive system.
