Can I combine Strepsils and Setaloft?

Can other symptoms (side effects of taking Setaloft), such as a sore throat with a medicine such as Strepsils, be treated while taking Setaloft (50 mg version)?

Strepsils Intensive do not contain ibuprofen, but flurbiprofen (a drug from the same group - NSAIDs). Indeed, this drug in combination with SSRIs (e.g. Setaloft) may, but rather slightly, increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. The risk may increase if the patient also uses other oral NSAIDs, e.g. Ibuprofen, Ketoprofen. Other products under the name Strepsils, e.g. Strepsils with honey and lemon, Strepsils Junior, Strepsils for cough, can be safely combined with Setaloft, because they contain other active ingredients.

Depends on! Strepsils intensive contain ibuprofen, which is inadvisable during treatment with sertraline, as it significantly increases the risk of bleeding from the digestive system.

Yes, you can. There are no contraindications to this.

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
