Booster dose - which COVID-19 vaccine is the most effective?

Once the full moderna Spikevax vaccination schedule has been received, it is possible to administer both mRNA (Pfizer Comirnaty, Moderna Spikevax), a vector vaccine (Astra Zeneca Vaxzevria) and a protein vaccine (Novavax Nuvaxovid) as a booster dose. In a statement issued by the Canadian National Advisory Committee on Vaccination in February 2022, it can be read that compared to other booster vaccines, Novavax Nuvaxovid caused a greater increase in immune response than the booster dose of AstraZeneca Vaxzevria, but a weaker immune response compared to the booster dose of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine (Moderna Spikevax or Pfizer Comirnaty). Certainly, there will be further results of studies on the effectiveness of various vaccination schemes using Novavax Nuvaxovid, but in the light of the data cited, the administration of Moderna Spikevax as a booster (booster dose) seems to be a more effective option in the context of stimulating the immune system.
