Budesonide (the active ingredient in Nebbud) belongs to glucocorticosteroids that have an anti-inflammatory effect and which are used to reduce swelling of the airways. The use is ordered by a doctor (the preparation is on prescription). Recorded indications include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and acute laryngitis in the youngest. However, there are no ear diseases. This does not mean that the doctor can not prescribe this preparation in other situations if he wants to take advantage of the anti-inflammatory effect of the preparation. Due to the connection of the nose and ear, drugs administered to the nostrils are sometimes used to alleviate the symptoms of the ears. Such a procedure should - as I mentioned - result from the doctor's recommendations.
