How long is Vines absorbed in me? When do I need to take another pill?

Hello. In the leaflet of contraceptive pills vines it is written that they absorb about 3/4 hour. What depends on is whether they will be absorbed in 3 or 4 hours. I am a young woman, without any diseases and obesity. In that case, how long do the tablets absorb in me? Let's say I vomit after 3 hours and 40 minutes after taking the pill. Do I then have to accept another one?

The reported values for m.in absorption time of the drug are averaged because a given group of people participates in pre-market studies and all results are statistically evaluated so that they are the most accurate predictions. Whether in your case the drug will be absorbed after 1 hour or after 1.5 hours does not matter much, because taking the drug regularly allows you to maintain its constant level in the body. Whether the drug will be absorbed 30 minutes sooner or later depends on many factors: food intake, type of food, individual variability such as blood supply to the organs of the gastrointestinal tract, liver metabolism and many others. I am not able to answer exactly how much is absorbed in you. If vomiting occurs within 3-4 hours of taking a tablet containing the active substance, take another (additional) tablet as soon as possible. If possible, the additional tablet should be taken within 12 hours of the usual time of use of the tablet. - What does this mean? For example, if you took the pill at 10:00 a.m. and vomited between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., according to the leaflet, you should use another pill to maintain contraception. So yes, if you vomit after 3 hours and 40 minutes after using the drug, then according to the manufacturer's recommendations you should take another tablet. If vomiting appeared, for example, at 16:00, there is a high probability that the pill has already been absorbed and contraception is preserved.
