In my case, the medications have intensified. Not to mention that my hands were boiling

This is due to the fact that drugs weaken the perception of anxiety quite quickly, but do not immediately have an antidepressant effect - malaise results from fluctuations in the level of brain transmitters, which stabilize after about 2 weeks.

Thank you for your reply. And can you tell me why it happens that this drug first intensifies everything? I do not know if I can take it after yesterday almost so to speak I died through these sensations of fever

By all means - such symptoms appear even after half a tablet. These are typical "adaptive" symptoms.

Citalopram - the active substance of Cital - works after at least 2 weeks, often - longer. At the beginning of therapy, some side effects may intensify - it can be said that this is the "normal" stage of therapy in the course of treatment with agents from the group of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs. In particular, this applies to thoughts of self-harm or suicide, but the patient may also feel powerless, tired, weak, worsening depression or anxiety, sweating, muscle tension, throbbing, a feeling of tremor or heat in different parts of the body, restlessness, vomiting or anorexia. Also, other side effects may be more pronounced at the beginning of therapy, but they usually pass after 2-3 weeks. This is due to the fact that drugs weaken the perception of anxiety quite quickly, but do not immediately have an antidepressant effect. If the patient is not able to cope during the adaptation period due to numerous side effects, he should consult a doctor and not give up therapy. If it is not possible to talk to the attending physician, he should consult the family doctor, e.g. by phone: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/app/blog/jak-telefoniczne-otrzymac-recepte-i-zwolnienie-lekarskie I attach information that may be useful: - https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/zaburzenia-lekowe-nerwica - https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-bac-sie-dzialan-niepozadanych-lekow
