I'm worried about the look of my throat on the back wall there are visible lymph papules, I have them for a very long time, is this normal? Should I go to some doctor. I have been treated for 10 years for irritable bowel syndrome, I do not have any throat-related ailments, except for a white raid on the tongue, which I treated in October with drugs: Vermox, Macmiror, the raid is smaller but still present.

Hello. I have a similar throat problem. I have been to a family doctor and an ENT specialist, although each of the doctors claims that it is due to reflux, I do not deny it. Although I have been suffering from reflux since I was 13 years old, and I am 25 and only now I am accompanied by such changes in my throat. Did anyone have a problem with swallowing, a feeling as if there was a foreign body on one side of the throat? And have any of you felt a numb throat? Pain when touching the neck or pounding, such numbness of the neck ? Sometimes I have problems with catching my breath, shortness of breath.
Hello.
I know this is a very old post, but I'm in a similar situation and I have to ask... Have you already found a solution to this situation?
Hello, has the situation with throat problems been clarified? I have reflux, my throat looks exactly the same.
Hey, I've been browsing all these forums and photos myself, because I'm struggling with something similar.
I went to a neurologist, an ENT specialist, a phoniatrician, an oncologist, and finally a gastroscopy was confirmed that it was reflux.
Since I've been on a diet, the symptoms have passed, but the redness and lymphatic lumps are still there.
My throat was very red and with lymphatic lumps, in the morning I was suffocating, I had hoarseness, a strange feeling when swallowing.
After numerous visits, swabs, even an oncologist was there, because there were papules in the larynx area, fortunately it was nothing terrible – reflux.
Unfortunately, it is incurable, but you can reduce the symptoms, the treatment takes quite a long time to see the effects, but at least the head is calm.
Hold on, go to the gastroenterologist :)
And do you know what it is? I have practically identical changes in my throat and I will add that I also have reflux problems, although I do not have heartburn (at least I do not feel it during the day)
I have similarly been diagnosed with hiatal hernia during gastroscopy, (small 2cm) acid from the stomach can back up into the esophagus, there does not have to be heartburn, I have been to the ENT several times with this and I have had all the tests and swabs done, it says that it is lymphatic lumps, all swabs are normal, no one knows what it is, either reflux or candida or after covid , Cancer does not! (Thank God) I was also at the throat doctor in the oncology ward with this he put a camera in the whole gullet and said that it is not cancer and there is nothing to worry about, I have also had it for about 2 years, maybe it is worth doing swabs for peace of mind? I'd also like to know what exactly it is
