Chemically pure water has a pH of 7 (neutral). Water with a pH higher than 7 is alkaline, and with a lower pH - it has acidity characteristics. According to one of the mineral water combinations (UOKK test and proTest), Żywiec Zdrój has a pH of 7.4, so it is shifted towards alkaline. Alkaline water has an even higher pH - above 7.5, and optimally 8.5-9.5. Drugs are best washed down with plain water with a neutral pH, for example, boiled tap water.
