Can I use dietary supplements with Ashwagandha while taking Nexpram?

It is not recommended to use dietary supplements with Ashwagandha while taking Nexpram. Indian ginseng can enhance the effects of antidepressants, and in combination with those that, like Nexpram, affect the concentration of serotonin in the brain, even contribute to the onset of serotonin syndrome. It consists in too much increase in the concentration of serotonin in the brain. Some of its symptoms are: fever, sweating, increased heart rate, diarrhea, (uncontrollable) muscle spasms, chills, increased reflexes, anxiety, mood changes, loss of consciousness.
