I can guess that the doctor prescribed Mrs. Bactrim Forte in the treatment of acne, because he could assess that the skin problems have a bacterial basis - bacteria present on the skin cause acne. As I mentioned, this is my hypothesis, and you can be explained by a doctor who knows your state of health and who has prescribed the medicine.
