To @Olaa: Yes, the protection will be preserved.
So after drinking alcohol after about 30 min / 1h from taking the tablet I can cooperate without protection?

My statement is based on the information provided by the manufacturer in the Safety Data Sheet of Orlifique. There is no record that alcohol reduces the contraceptive effectiveness of this drug (in the case of drugs whose action is affected by alcohol consumption, such information is clearly indicated in the Safety Data Sheet). Perhaps my friend meant that alcohol increases the risk of gastrointestinal disorders such as vomiting or diarrhea. Their occurrence within 3-4 hours of taking the tablet actually reduces its effectiveness or was guided by the general rule that no drugs should be washed down with alcohol - a break of +/- 2 hours between the drug and alcohol is justified. However, as I have previously emphasized, alcohol consumption while taking Orlifique tablets does not affect their contraceptive effectiveness.
So how is it in the end? Because she gets contradictory information, because another lady answering the question whether you can drink alcohol after taking a pill wrote that you should wait min. 2 h because alcohol can reduce the effectiveness
