Does menstruation occur when taking birth control pills?
Does menstruation occur when taking birth control pills? I am in the middle of the first blister of Orlifique tablets at the placebo tablet stage and after taking the third such I experienced bleeding (from withdrawal) and will I still get menstruation in a week according to my cycle? Is it only this withdrawal bleeding that occurs during this method of contraception?

Podczas przyjmowania tabletek antykoncepcyjnych występuje tzw. "krwawienie z odstawienia". Nie jest to miesiączka, która występuje, gdy nie przyjmujemy tabletek. Jedyne krwawienie, które powinno występować, to właśnie krwawienie z odstawienia, które u Pani wystąpiło. Kolejnego krwawienia w terminie "miesiączki" już nie będzie.
