W trakcie przerwy 7-dniowej stosowane produkty zazwyczaj nie wpływają na skuteczność antykoncepcji. Ponadto szacunkowo w 100 g mandarynek znajduje się 26,7 mg witaminy C. Aby spożycie mandarynek mogło mieć wpływ na skuteczność antykoncepcji musiałaby Pani spożyć ich ok. 3,8 kg.
