Why should patients with prostatic hypertrophy not take Pramolan?

Good morning, From 1.5 years takes 50 mg of pramolate per night. it is ok, I am 63 years old, I read in the leaflet that the contraindication to its stsowania is the growth of the prostate gland with urine retention. For prostatic hyperplasia takes dalfaz uno 10 mg . Why is the mentioned prostatic hyperplasia a contraindication for taking pramolate and whether it poses any health risks. Please reply.

Opipramol - substancja czynna leku Pramolan - zapobiega skurczom pęcherza moczowego, dzięki temu jest stosowany, np. u pacjentów z nietrzymaniem moczu. Mówiąc prosto, zapobiega tzw. "popuszczaniu" moczu.

W przeroście gruczołu krokowego pacjenci mają problem ze swobodnym odpływem moczu. Jeśli dodatkowo pacjentowi takiemu podamy Pramolan, który zapobiega wypływowi moczu z pęcherza, to dojdzie do jeszcze gorszego utrudnienia w oddawaniu moczu lub całkowitego zablokowania oddawania moczu.
