I put on my first polaring disc on the day of menstruation, 28.11. I had a pretty bountiful period. Today, while pulling out the tampon, I unfortunately hooked on the puck that fell into the toilet. In this situation, can I open a new disc and apply it?

Tak, konieczne jest założenie nowego krążka. Jeżeli krążek nie znajdował się w pochwie przez czas dłuższy niż 3 godziny w pierwszym tygodniu stosowania, jego skuteczność
antykoncepcyjna mogła się zmniejszyć.

Jeśli w ciągu kolejnych7 dni ma Pani odbyć stosunek, należy użyć dodatkowo prezerwatywy dla mężczyzn. Jeśli jest Pani w pierwszym tygodniu cyklu i w czasie ostatnich siedmiu dni miała stosunek, istnieje możliwość, że jest Pani w ciąży. W takim przypadku należy skontaktować się z lekarzem.
