Is it normal that at the age of 53 I have no symptoms of menopause?

Menopauza (ostatnia miesiączka) występuje przeciętnie w wieku 45–55 lat. Ten moment jest na ogół poprzedzony nieregularnym miesiączkowaniem. Może to trwać nawet do dwóch lat. W związku z zanikiem czynności hormonalnej wiele pacjentek doświadcza w tym czasie zaburzeń układu nerwowego czy dolegliwości w sferze emocjonalnej. Nie jest to jednak reguła i niektóre kobiety przechodzą menopauzę łagodnie.

Zachęcam do regularnych wizyt u ginekologa i wykonywania zaleconych badań. Z pewnością uda się wychwycić moment i ewentualne objawy, które mogą wskazywać potrzebę interwencji.
