Does Nebbud affect wet cough? Should I stop Nebbud?

Hello. Daughter 4.5 years wet cough. I get pecto drill 2 times a day and once a day nebbud 0.25 but the cough is still hard to break off. I even have the impression that dopoki will not do inhalation from nebbudu more easy to vacuum the secretion than after inhalation. Does nebbud have any influence on this? Should I wean it?

Nebbud is a steroid drug that reduces swelling of the airways. It has an anti-inflammatory effect. The drug does not affect wet cough in a child. However, the inhalation process itself may cause a temporary increase in cough (up to 2 hours after inhalation). The drug should not be discontinued independently, due to the fact that perhaps the doctor examining the child, found changes in the bronchi and hence the recommendation of the preparation. Stopping the treatment too quickly may cause an intensification of disease symptoms: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/52516/nebbud-zawiesina/ulotka Pecto Drill, on the other hand, is a mucolytic drug, i.e. it thins the secretion and facilitates the cleansing of the respiratory system. I encourage you to use additional methods to facilitate the cleansing of the respiratory system, such as patting. We wrote more about wet cough in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/kaszel-mokry In case of doubt about the effectiveness of the drugs used, I encourage you to consult your doctor.
