Zwykle stosowana dawka kropli Sinecod dla dzieci od 2-24 miesiąca życia to 10 kropli 4 razy na dobę.
Sinecod można łączyć z paracetamolem. Należy mieć natomiast na uwadze, iż częste inhalacje z soli fizjologicznej, przy jednoczesnym stosowaniu leku przeciwkaszlowego mogą utrudnić odksztuszanie wydzieliny i zwiększają ryzyko rozwoju infekcji, dlatego warto unikać takiego połączenia lub stosować, np. jedną inhalację w ciągu dnia.
