Krwawienie z odstawienia może mieć różną formę i kolor i ta zmienność jest całkowicie normalnym zjawiskiem. W każdym cyklu krwawienie nie musi być takie same, nawet może mieć postać śluzu podbarwionego krwią.
Nie jest tak jak przy normalnym okresie sama zywoczerwona krew, tylko właśnie pojawia się też śluz
