What if I forgot to change the 1st Evra patch?

Hello. A week ago I had a patch change on Thursday but I forgot about the change. I glued only today and I should glue today 3 patch. Unfortunately, because I forgot a week ago to glue a new patch today I got menstruation despite the fact that I glued the patch today. I don't know what to do. Because I should have a period in a week, not today. Do you peel off this patch what I'm wearing or only in a week peel off even though I have menstruation? And if I peel off in a week is or not I have to stick another? I'm lost. Please help.
