Nie wolno samodzielnie, bez konsultacji z lekarzem prowadzącym zmieniać dawki i częstotliwości przyjmowania leku, a farmaceuci nie podejmują decyzji o odstawieniu leku w takiej sytuacji. O zagrożeniach związanych z odstawianiem leków, w tym przeciwdepresyjnych pisaliśmy tutaj:
