Nadpłytkowość (trombocytoza) to stan, który prowadzić do powikłań zakrzepowo-zatorowych, np. zawału serca czy udaru mózgu. Oznacza on wzrost liczby płytek krwi powyżej 600 000/µl (600 G/l).
Norma liczby płytek krwi we krwi wynosi 150 000–400 000µl.
W Pani przypadku norma ta jest przekroczona, zatem może to być, ale nie musi, przeciwwskazanie do stosowania antykoncepcji.
