Nie należy przerywać stosowania produktów leczniczych Contrahist i Alvesco z powodu planowanego podania szczepionki przeciwko COVID-19.

Leki przeciwhistaminowe, których przykładem jest produkt leczniczy Contrahist, nie działa immunosupresyjnie - nie osłabia odpowiedzi układu odpornościowego, a co za tym idzie, nie wpływa negatywnie na skuteczność szczepionki.
Podobnie, stosowanie glikokortykosteroidów w postaci wziewnej, których przykładem jest produkt leczniczy Alvesco, nie stanowi przeciwwskazania do szczepienia, ponieważ nie powoduje istotnej immunosupresji.
